What is SDA?
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to housing specifically designed for NDIS participants who require a high level of physical access or structural support. SDA homes may include smart technology, accessible layouts, and robust safety features that allow for more independent living and better delivery of personal support services.
SDA funding is provided through the NDIS for eligible participants and is separate from support services like SIL (Supported Independent Living).
